Privacy Statement

Scope

This privacy statement explains users about the nature, scope and purpose of collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider (University of Applied Management GmbH, Am Bahnhof 2, 85435 Erding, info@fham.de) on this website (hereinafter referred to as "Offer").

The legal basis of data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

Access data / Server log files

The provider (or his internet provider) collects data about each access to the offer (so-called server log files). The access data include:

Name of the requested web page, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the operating system of the user, referrer URL (the previously visited web page), IP address and the requesting provider.

The provider uses the log data only for statistical purposes for the purpose of operation, security and the optimization of the offer. However, the provider reserves the right, to check the log data at a later time if there is reasonable suspicion of unlawful use due to concrete indications.

Handling of personal data

Personal information is information that will help that a person is identifiable, i.e.  information that can be traced back to a person. This includes the name, the e-mail address or the phone number. But also data on preferences, hobbies, memberships or information on the websites which were viewed by someone, are part of these personal data.

Personal data will only be collected or passed on by the seller, if this is permitted by law or if the user has consented to the data collection.

Contact

When you contact the seller (for example by using the contact form or via e-mail), the information of the user are saved. This happens for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that connection questions arise.

Newsletter

With the newsletter we inform you about us and our offers.

If you want to receive the newsletter, we require a valid e-mail address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the e-mail address or that its owner agrees to receive the newsletter. Further data are not collected. These data are used only to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to any third party.

When you register for the newsletter, we save your IP address and the date of registration. This storage is only used as a means of evidence in the case that a third party abuses an e-mail address and logs in without the knowledge of the person entitled to receive newsletter.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address and its use for sending the newsletter at any time. The revocation can be made via a link in the newsletter itself, in your profile area or by notice to the above contact details.

Integration of services and content of third parties / Social Networks

It can happen that content from third parties, like for example YouTube videos, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, are incorporated within this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of such contents (hereinafter referred to as "third party") take the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, the third parties could not send the content to the browser of the individual user. The IP address is thus necessary for the presentation of that content. We strive to use only such content of which the respective providers are using the IP address only for the delivery of content. However, we have no control if the third-party saves the IP address for statistical purposes. As far as it is known to us, we inform the users about that.
